Shape the future and direction of UCR's campus by becoming a student leader. Whether it's starting your own organization, becoming an officer in an existing organization or serving as a student organization advising peer, you will gain hands-on, real-life experience that can be listed on a job or graduation school application or even your resume. Becoming a leader is also is a great chance to make new friends and interact with students while building confidence and communication skills.
The Leadership Library is your resource headquarters
The Leadership Library is an excellent resource for finding reference materials, books
and videos on current topics and trends in leadership and personal development. In
our library, you will find resources on various topics including program development,
leadership theory, identity development, personal leadership growth, creating effective
groups/teams, ice breakers/team building, service learning, student organization leadership
issues and diversity issues.
The Leadership Library also includes books with effective leadership tips and initiatives from many of today's leading authors in their fields. Take advantage of the resources in the Leadership Library for your own personal growth and development, or use it to further develop your team/student organization. Materials are available for browsing or a two-week checkout period with a UCR student ID card.
